What heath club/gym are you a member of? If you're not, why not and which one do you want to join?

I'm a member at "The Club" located in Green Hills and Hwy 100 (West Nashville). I love it. They have a great outdoor pool, and awesome classes.

But my favorite gym is the great outdoors. I can run, bike, and swim there! And get a nice tan!

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining.

I was thinking we could all start walking baby steps and post ideas of one thing we will do to help us meet our fitness goals. Could be as small as "I am going to resist overdoing desert today." or "I am going to park far from my destination so I am forced to walk a little extra" to as big as "I quit smoking forever."

What will you do?

I think I am going to make a goal of walking/jumping/running/doing anything that requires a lot of moving around for a minimum of 15 minutes a day. Starting now. I also need to break my "I'll start tomorrow." mode of thinking and JUST start now. :-)

I do! I am excited about this community and I think it could be a really good thing.

When I was in High School I had an interest in Yoga and I was far more healthy than I am now. I want to return to that mindset. As you get older stress and other pressures distract us from taking care of ourselves. I am going to commit to not do that any longer.

I know we all slip up but my personal goal is to pick myself up, dust myself off and continue striving to eat, live and exercise right.
